The title of this blog comes from a conversation with my 6-year old grandson. On the way home from school he described his day and then added, "and the rest was normal." I probed by asking, "What's your favorite normal thing to do?" He said, "Math." When I asked him why he replied in a very excited voice, "because there's so much to learn!" I agree. There IS so much to learn. This blog will attempt to chronicle my learning through life in general but specifically through my graduate program.
